A couple of hours after an appointment, Practor asks how it went. Your answers go to the practice you saw, and they are never published anywhere.

Nothing about it is compulsory. Ignore it and the request drops off your list after seven days.

## Open the request

The ask arrives twice over: as a notification headed **How was your visit to** your practice, and as a row on your home page reading **You recently visited** them. Either one opens the same page, which lists every visit still waiting on an answer with the practice and the date.

Press **Share your experience** on the visit you want to answer.

You get asked once per visit, and only about appointments you attended.

## Answer the four questions

Each question is a score out of five, and the whole thing runs on taps.

- **How easy was it to get seen?** covers booking, getting through on the phone, and finding the place.
- **How were the people who looked after you?** covers reception, the paperwork and everything around the care itself.
- **How was the care you received?** covers the treatment and how it was explained to you.
- **Overall, how was your visit?** is one last score for the whole thing. It is the one the practice sees first.

Score one of the first three and a short list of options appears underneath, chosen to suit the score you gave. A good score asks **What made it easy?** or **What went well?** and offers things like **Warm welcome** and **Explained things clearly**. A poor one asks **What could have been better?** and offers **Waited a long time** or **Felt rushed**. Tap as many as fit, or none.

Changing a score clears the options you picked under it, because they no longer match. The overall question has no options: it's the score on its own.

## Add a note, or don't

The last step is **Anything you want them to know?**, a box for what the options missed. It gets sent to the practice exactly as you write it, so it's the place to say what a tapped option cannot.

Then send it. That's the whole thing.

## Who reads your answers

The practice you saw, and nobody else. It is not on their public listing, other patients cannot see it, and Practor does not publish it.

A score of two or less is flagged for them, so a poor rating reaches somebody rather than sitting in a total. They can mark it dealt with on their side, which you won't see, and they may get in touch about it.
