Credits are consumed when Ava transcribes and documents patient encounters (ambient mode) or processes complex medical queries (chat mode). A typical 10-minute encounter uses about 95 credits. The Pro plan includes 50,000 credits per month, which covers about 3 practitioners using ambient documentation every day.

Voice minutes are used when you talk to Ava for hands-free scheduling, patient lookups, or medical questions. Pro includes 300 minutes per month, Pro Max includes 750. Extra minutes cost $0.08 each. Voice minutes and Ava credits are tracked separately.

You can keep sending. Overages are billed at $0.03 per message. Notifications go out via WhatsApp by default, with automatic SMS fallback for patients who don't have it. Email notifications are unlimited on every plan. You can track usage in real time from your billing dashboard.
