Practor asks each patient how their visit went and collects the answers in one place: Settings → Reviews, under Patient experience. Only the practice owner can open it. The tab shows for everyone else on the team, and pressing it answers You cannot see these reviews, with Ask a practice owner if you need access. under it.

Nothing a patient writes there is published. The answers go to the practice they saw and nowhere else.

How a patient gets asked

Practor raises the request itself, so there is nothing to send. Every couple of hours it looks for appointments marked attended, and asks about each one two hours after it ended. A visit gets asked about once.

The patient has seven days to answer. After that the request expires and drops off their list.

An appointment nobody marked as attended is never asked about, which makes the marking worth doing on the day. Run your calendar covers appointment statuses.

Read the summary

The row of numbers along the top is the average score out of five, with the three parts of the visit beside it: Getting seen is booking and arriving, The people is reception and the visit around the care, and Care received is the treatment itself. Under the overall score, the count of how many of the patients asked have answered.

30 days, 90 days and All time change the period every number on the page is drawn from.

Once five patients have answered, a What patients are saying card appears above the charts. Practor works it out once a week rather than on every answer, so the card shows the date it was last written and how many responses went into it, and the period buttons don't change it.

How visits were rated is the spread of scores from one to five. What patients picked tallies the options they tapped, under Went well and Could be better.

Work through the responses

Each response below the charts shows the score, the patient's name, the date, the practitioner they saw, anything they wrote, and the options they chose.

A score of two or less is marked Needs a look and the row stays tinted until somebody deals with it. The count of those sits in the row of numbers at the top. Practor also notifies everyone who can open this page as each response arrives, and a score of two or less arrives marked urgent.

A low score keeps its flag until somebody marks it handled.

Mark handled on the row swaps the flag for Handled. It records that your practice saw it and did something, and nothing about it reaches the patient, so telling them what you did is still your job.
